GENERAL QUESTIONS
Fequantly questions we recive by phone.
Can you help with a water leak bill?
Yes. Eligible leaks in the service line from our meter andtap to your home may qualify for a bill adjustment, subject to eligibility
requirements and board approval. For leaks beyond the shut-off valve, we offer monthly
payments instead of a lump-sum payment. How do I get a new water connection? (NEW TAP)
Complete the New Tap service application from our office or website’s Forms Tab. Pay the $359.77 combined deposit and tap fee at our office with exact cash, Money order, or a check. Your request joins the installation list only after payment is recieved. Installation takes about 6 to 12 weeks, depending on workload and supplier availability, on a first-come, first-served basis. Follow the service line recommendations and requirements on the application’s last two pages. Monthly base-rate billing starts when the meter is installed, even if your service line is not ready. You must pay the monthly base rate for 36 months before discontinuing service.
Can I transfer my deposit to a new account holder?
Yes. Submit the deposit transfer form with the new account holder’s service
application. ID is required from both parties and everything can be found under our FORMS tab. What should I do if I inherit a home in your district?
